David Levine

Dr. David Levine is a professor and the Walter M. Cline Chair of Excellence in Physical Therapy at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, and an adjunct professor at the University of Tennessee's College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been working and conducting research in animal physical rehabilitation since 1993. He has been teaching in Small Animal Rehabilitation for over 20 years and is a Fellow of the American Physical Therapy Association and the International Association of Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy.

Dr. Levine is the co-editor of multiple books, including Canine Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy, Essential Facts of Physiotherapy in Dogs and Cats, and Gait Analysis: An Introduction. He has presented at over 100 conferences and has lectured in more than a dozen countries.

His research on canine rehabilitation has yielded over 80 peer reviewed articles that have contributed to current knowledge in the field. He also participates in equine rehabilitation with 10 plus published studies in this area.

Clinically he works at a multi-specialty veterinary clinic (Veterinary Care and Specialty Group) in Chattanooga TN, that sees patients in all specialty areas. Dr Levine is passionate about this field and has made it a priority in his professional life to promote and elevate the field.

At Fetch Rehab, Dr. Levine works in clinical education and program development, helping to elevate the standard of veterinary rehabilitation through innovation, research integration, and practitioner mentorship.
